Imagination Is Not Luxury

Imagination may seem like a frivolous privilege but we are in a time when we need hope and the willingness to imagine a different future and possibility.

Imagination is not luxury.

Imagination is survival.

Imagination is food for the soul.

Imagination is a new story to live by.

Imagination is hope.

Imagination is possibility.

Imagination is scary.

Because in order to engage with imagination, we need trust, surrender, and to let go of control.

In a world that has tamed us to logical and reasonable, in a world that values doers over dreamers, imagination may seem like a joke.

But it is not.

It is lifeblood.

Make a vow to your imagination.

You will not abandon her.

You will not neglect her.

You will give her voice.

Not tomorrow.

Today.
