Which Path Are You Taking?
I wanted to give you a taste of my free training to help you design your creative purpose.
This lesson is all about the four creator paths.
The four Creator Paths are (1) Fine Art (2) Content (3) Service and (4) Product.
Let’s go through each path in greater detail.
Path 1: Fine Art
In this path, you’re most interested in getting your creative voice out there and expressing yourself freely. You’re not interested in exploring any commercial purpose or see whether you can align this with your livelihood. You create regardless of how it will be received by others. If you want to sell your fine art, then please select path 2 or 4. If you don’t feel good commercializing your art, then stay here.
Examples: Painting, Photography, Literary Fiction, Performance etc.
Path 2: Content
In this path, you are creating content with the purpose of inspiring and helping people, potentially building an audience. This isn’t pure “art” because you create with a reader or listener in mind.
Examples: Blog, Podcast, Book, Series or Collection of Stories etc.
Path 3: Service
In this path, you are interested in providing a service to or transformative experience for people. This path makes sense if you really care about impacting people directly.
Examples: Consulting or coaching services, physical space, online community, events, programs, etc.
Path 4: Product
In this path, you want to help people through a physical or digital product. This is a great path if you are a maker at heart or are interested in changing people’s lives through their relationship to objects.
Examples: Food products, jewelry, meditation app, journal, etc.

Path 2 (Content) has a business model as well, but it can be a long road as it involves audience-building:
