In the spirit of my favorite month, my birthday, and Halloween, I have a confession for you: I'm a deeply spiritual person. Sometimes I'm intense. And not everyone can handle this intensity. I have an alter, incense, Goddess cards, yoga mats, prayer ties, candles, crystals and the list goes on. Sometimes I can definitely be a hodge podgy mix of "woo."
Some of my friends are completely out of the "woo closet." And I commend them. See, I still have one foot in the mainstream and one foot in the fringe. It's important for me to be a bridge. In-between. Translator. Communicator from one side to the other. And I think I'll stay here for a while. It feels good. It feels right.
But sometimes I just need to let go. Go crazy and play. The wild woman is begging for some greater expression. And I'm listening.
It helps when you have sisters who are willing to go there with you.
It doesn't matter what robe of skin you're wearing. The essence remains. The essence wants expression. Its light wants to leak through the cracks of your skin.
We've been quite domesticated over the years to look, speak, and walk a certain way. But there is a more instinctual way. One that is closer to your nature.
She's the wild one.
I don't need to live with her full time. But I definitely will feed her as my evolution continues to unfold.
You are evolving too.
Walking home to her.
